Half a trillion dollars worth of paintbrushes.
In a recent show, Glenn claimed the President is starting a domestic personal army with 500 billion dollars of taxpayer money and compares that with the armies loyal to Saddam Hussein and Adolph Hitler.
This clip is a great example of Beck’s tactics as his two guests seem to realize that Beck is lying, and they do not correct him because it fits their agenda. One of his guests brags about killing people throwing rocks at him, and compares crowds in Iraq to progressives in the U.S.
The civilian corps they are talking about have a proposed two billion dollars in funding, which apparently Beck corrected later in his show. They will be doing community works projects, with no military component, something Beck must of been well aware of. So basically, this clip is nothing more than an excuse for Beck to compare Obama to Hitler and Saddam Hussein. Nothing like some good old-fashioned fear-mongering.
